Sharmili Majmudar, MSW

Sharmili an ALSO Underserved TA Project consultant, is an experienced, adaptive, and strategic executive leader with trauma-informed management and advocacy skills committed to advancing gender justice and equity through an intersectional lens. She is a recognized expert on sexual and domestic violence issues and has been committed to social justice work for over 25 years, including as a clinician working directly with trauma survivors. She currently leads policy, programs, and research work at a non-profit advocacy organization that fights for economic equity for women. Sharmili has served as an MOU partner for the Underserved Technical Assistance Project of the Alliance of Local Service Organizations (ALSO) since 2019.
