Katherine Coate

Katherine Coate is the Program Assistant for the Underserved Project. She joined the team in September 2025 and provides administrative and logistical support for the program. Before joining the team, Katherine completed a masters degree in Peace Studies at Trinity College Dublin. She also served as a Program Assistant and Regional Coordinator for the Trafficking Victims Assistance Program at the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, where she supported case managers working with immigrant survivors of human trafficking. Katherine holds a BA in Diplomacy and Global Politics from Miami University and contributed to the Prosecution Project, a research study analyzing political violence within the criminal justice system.
